Absorption silencers

Acoustic silencers are used in various technical devices, such as ventilation systems, blowers, intake and exhaust systems or exhaust systems of combustion engines. Their task is to reduce the energy of acoustic waves that are transferred along the axis of the duct through which air or gas flows. For this reason, acoustic silencers should be designed to obstruct the path of noise and not to impede the flow of gas or air along the flows.
